Longines Global Champions Tour Paris 2015

Platting in the heat...
36 small plaits in the heat...

Hey everyone,

Sorry it took so long for my final blog from Paris LGCT, but as you can imagine yesterday was a little stressful!

My morning started slower, then it was all systems go - my big friendly giant aka First Class was amazing again! Then it was time to focus on the LGCT Grand Prix; we went pretty late so I had plenty of time and as it was so hot again I thought I would get on my little ladder earlier and do my usual small plaits - but allowing time for fan breaks to reduce the sweating!!  36 plaits woohoo and we are in business!!!

Unfortunately Pironella had an unfortunate fault, but jumped amazing apart from that! Which means home time for Sean. In between getting packed up I had a chance to watch a few rounds of the second round! Then I sat down and watched the jump-off!!

Couldn't be more happier for Team Allen! Marlen, Bertram and Romo the homo (Oops... sorry, but that's what his friends call him and I'm sure he is slightly attracted to the male horses! Ha!!!) They honestly are the best team ever!!!

So I was packed, horses all finished and was ready to go collect the truck... But.... I had to wait because after all we are in Paris on a Saturday evening. So I decided to go have a quick dinner with Nanna and Celia... Food and a chocolate dessert is what we all needed! Happy grooms :)

But my Paris came to an end early we didn't jump today so while I'm here writing this from my sofa at home everyone is getting ready for the Grand Prix!!! Good luck everyone!!

Until next time World of Showjumping, and I hope everyone enjoyed reading this!
