Emerald vh Ruytershof, a son of Diamant de Semilly, was not only a finalist at the Rio Olympic Games – he also won many 5* Grand Prix classes and Nations Cups under the saddle of top rider Harrie Smolders. The list of international jumping offspring of this top stallion is now endless and it gets longer every year.

Emerald did not only inherit his tremendous sport and jumping skills from his illustrious father. His dam Carthina Z (Carthago x Lys de Darmen) is the dam of a very long list of show jumpers who jump at the highest level one by one.

Don VHP's father Diamant de Semilly obviously needs no introduction: He is a top sire and the whole world agrees about this. Diamant de Semilly is even more confirmed in his role as a world class sire when he is combined with absolute top mares. Like Sara van het Parelshof. This BWP mare by Voltaire out of a Ramiro-Z mother, produced no less than four horses at 1.50m level or even higher – including Don VHP Z, the stunning and very reliable stallion that Harrie Smolders was so successful with.

This combination were Vice Individual European Champions in Gothenburg, won the Grand Prix of the Global Champions Tour in Hamburg (2018) and Rome (2016). He won the Longines Nations Cup Final with the Dutch Team in Barcelona in 2017 and jumped to an impressive list of victories throughout his career. His charisma, endless power, strong character and winning mentality is shown in his offspring, who are now starting to shine one by one at international level.

Meet Nixon van 't Meulenhof and look at his impressive pedigree! Nixon is a son of Denzel van ‘t Meulenhof. Denzel is a son of Marius Claudius out of the well-known mare Narcotique de Muze, daughter of breeding phenomenon Quidam de Revel. She herself jumped at the highest level. This does not end this promising breeding story. Nixon's dam is the well known Carthina Z, dam of our Eurohorse-ambassador Emerald van het Ruytershof, and of his full sister, the well-known mare Diamanthina van het Ruytershof who jumped at the highest level with Constant Van Paeschen. 

Nixon van 't Meulenhof was approved for BWP in 2016. Here he was seen as one of the most promising young stallions of the future. His power and strong hind legs make him a real striking personality. In 2018, he won the PAVO Stallion Competition for 5-year-olds, at the end of 2019 he was shining with Harrie Smolders at Jumping Mechelen, where this combination won the test for the 6-year-old stallions. In January 2021, Harrie and Nixon already jumped at 1.50m level during the CSI4 * of Salzburg. Harrie and the impressive eight-year-old stallion did not touch one fence and immediately rode to a promising twelfth place in a very strong field of participants. Just like his parents, Nixon van 't Meulenhof has plenty of scope and attitude. The future looks very bright!

Jos Verlooy enjoys the enthusiasm and fantastic character of the appealing grey stallion Caracas. Caracas and Jos Verlooy performed at the highest level. They won the CSI5* Grand Prix in Rotterdam in 2018 and the CSI5* Grand Prix in Ascona in 2019, were 2nd in the Grand Prix of the Global Champions Tour of Mexico, 2nd in the World Cup at CSI5*-W Mechelen. Jos and Caracas were also very important on the ‘Hamburg Diamonds team’ that won the Global Champions League in 2016. 

Caracas doesn't get his talent and willpower from strangers. His sire Casall Ask (Caretino x Lavall I) is the legendary jumping stallion of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. The mother of Caracas is the Holsteiner mare Colthaga (Colman x Barnaul). Caracas was born and produced in Australia and came to Europe as a seven year old. He only went to stud in Europe in 2020 but as a young stallion he has produced some nice promising horses, now competing in Australia.

This BWP ambassador with the world-famous Heartbreaker as a father had an impressive sports career himself. He now has an equally impressive list of offspring on his record as a stallion. Just to mention a few you undoubtedly know: Harley vd Bisschop, winner of the Tryon Grand Prix in 2016 with Nicola Philippaerts, or Hannah, winner of the 5* Grand Prix in Lummen 2017 with Swiss top rider Steve Guerdat.

With the Heartbreaker phenomenon on his father's side and Libero-H daughter Secret Love Wonderland, the mother of approved stallions and international jumping horses, Dulf Van Den Bisschop is also blessed with a more than exceptional bloodline that makes the best hope for the future. He always produces strong foals with blood and a lot of size.
