The internationally renowned jumping and trading company Stal Hendrix has launched an online auction platform. The first collection, consisting of three-year-old jumping horses, will be offered from 11th till 15th of December. All horses come from the own breeding or rearing of Stal Hendrix and have passed strict selections. HX Auctions offers an excellent opportunity to purchase young talent.

Timothy, Michel and Janou Hendrix, the third generation of the horse-minded Hendrix family, came up with the idea to create an own auction platform. A constant supply of high-quality horses makes it possible to get off to a good start with an interesting collection. “In this way we want to offer our customers the opportunity to purchase talents from our own breeding program at an earlier stage. Due to all the developments, online auctioning has been fully established and we have carefully selected these three-year-olds”, says Paul Hendrix, who is responsible for the selection together with his son Michel and cousin Timothy.

Performance genes

Michel Hendrix has high hopes for the collection. As one of the highlights he points out Aganuno van de Eijkhof Z. “This horse is proof of what an excellent pedigree can do. As a son of Aganix du Seigneur out of the full sister of the top stallion Numero Uno, this gelding has great origins and he totally lives up to that. It’s a horse with great potential for the future.” Another remarkable talent is the stunning Cape Coral RBF Z-mare Maggie May HX. “This mare comes from our own breeding and is bred out the Grand Prix showjumping mare Naiky d’Elca sired by world champion Cumano. Under Abdel Saïd, Naiky has performed at top level and this daughter has outstanding conformation and a perfect jumping technique. Maggie May HX can prove her value in both the showjumping and hunter arena”, tells Michel.

Related to Grand Prix horses

A true head-turner is the George offspring Monalisa. This beautiful mare is bred out of the full sister of USEF National Horse of the Year El Primero. Her dam Heavenly Special is performing on international 1.35/1.40m level and represents a prominent Dutch performance damline which leads back to the Grand Prix and World Cup winning mare Especiale of Eric van der Vleuten. “This modern, light-footed Monalisa is from the second year of our stallion George, who has competed in his first 2* Grand Prixs this year, and she jumps with a very good technique.” Also representing a proven damline is the Diamant de Semilly gelding Dutch Diamant Z. “This horse has a bright future ahead. He combines very good conformation with a lot of scope and quality on the jumps. Dutch Diamant Z was bred out of the same family as Grand Prix horses like Sterrehof’s Dante, Triple and No Limit as well as our 1.45m level stallion Gaspahr, from which we have two offspring in this collection.”

Two offspring of Entertainer are also worth mentioning, says Michel Hendrix. “We’ve already had quite some offspring of Entertainer in our stables and we have always been good with them. As a young horse they might have a bit of their own way of jumping, but they all develop for the better. We have a gelding out of the well-known damline of Gancia de Muze, and the other Entertainer was bred from the family of Laura Kraut’s Grand Prix showjumper Allegiance.” All information about the horses and the auction can be found on www.hxauctions.nl. After registration, online bids can be made from Friday the 11th of December. The auction closes on Tuesday the 15th of December, with the first lot at 7.30 pm.
