A horse with rare and unique qualities.

This five year old stallion has all the attributes of a much more mature horse, including excellent ridability and unlimited scope. His impressive technique, incredibly careful jump, fantastic responsiveness and near-perfect bascule make him an excellent prospect. All of this horse’s paces are rhythmic, dynamic and smooth. What a Man also has the ideal mind-set to be an exceptional competition horse: a positive attitude, courage, intelligence and focus.

Despite only being five years old What a Man has been regularly placed over the season and his competition statistics are impressive. At shows outside Germany he has already won 13 young horse classes and been placed on numerous occasions. He also caught the attention of the show jumping world with an international youngster class win. This horse even jumps a maximum height course with ease and will make a great Grand Prix horse one day. What a Man is the big-framed sport horse type that reflects the future of jumping horse breeding.

Two qualities that What a Man shares with his sire Ogano Sitte are that ‘he’s a real fighter with unlimited scope’. Ogano Sitte is one of Darco’s most interesting progeny. He had a successful international career including Grand Prix wins with Dominique Hendrix. Darco, seventh in the individual competition at the Barcelona Olympic Games in 1992 with Ludo Philippaerts, is famous for the vast number of his progeny winning competition points at international level. Ogano Sitte has proven his credentials as a breeding stallion by siring some excellent horses, many of which compete in top level show jumping. They include Viego les Hauts (Viktoria Gulliksen), Aganix du Seigneur (Jos Lansink) and Button Sitte (Richie Moloney). What a Man’s pedigree also boasts the genes of influential stallion Voltaire, who traces his impressive performance lineage back to Gotthard via Furioso II and has many offspring competing in international classes. Hanoverian sire Feinschnitt I rounds off the bloodline.

Could he be the man for you?
