A passionate equestrian and well know figure in the industry, Christophe Ameeuw founded the Ecuries d’Ecaussinnes in 1997. Soon the property gained international recognition as trustworthy, state of the art facilities for sport horse breeding, training and trading in a privileged location at the heart of Europe.
With their own stallions, the stables have developed an exclusive expertise in breeding the best origins. Thanks to Venezia d’Ecaussinnes and Utamaro d’Ecaussinnes the name of the small village in Belgium is heard on international show grounds around the world.
For the past 20 years Ecuries d’Ecaussinnes have produced and traded some top horses on the showjumping scene while being a training platform and base for Olympic champions like Kevin Staut (FRA), Lucy Davis (USA) and Eric Lamaze (CAN).
The current facilities available for rent were built in 2012 as an extension to Ecuries d’Ecaussinnes family stables, on a 19,8 acres property in the village of Ecaussinnes in Belgium.
The unique location provides easy access in less than 3 hours drive to Paris, Brussels, Lille and Amsterdam airports and, conveniently less than 1 hour from Liège Airport for horses’ flights. It sits at the crossroads to Europe’s main equestrian markets, with easy access to competition showgrounds in Belgium, Holland, France and Germany.
In addition to the stables, rings, indoor arena, office buildings, paddocks, a stunning renovation project of a traditional Farmhouse provides 2 contemporary luxury housing units for rent.
With Paris 2024 Olympic games on the horizon, Ecaussinnes is the place to be for professional show jumping teams looking for a European home at the cross-roads of all major equestrian destinations!
