Belgium's Sam Polleunis produces many young horses up to international level, and is a very competitive rider. With his top mount Okidoki van 't Gelutt Z, Polleunis has recorded some of his best results such as the silver medal at the Sires of the World in 2015 and this year's Grand Prix of Bonheiden.

Recently Pollenius discovered Equine 74 Gastric, and started to use it on some of his horses. The experience has been nothing but positive.

A few months ago, Sam Polleunis got the advice to try Equine 74 Gastric and after only a few weeks he could see changes in some of his horses. “I think first of all it is very important to know your horses very well as a rider. Sam Polleunis felt one of his younger horses was not so motivated anymore, and then he decided to put him on Equine 74 Gastric. “This is a 6-year-old horse who after a while never was motivated when you got him from his box. He did not seem to have spirit to work for you anymore. At first he was a very fresh and motivated horse, but until a few weeks ago his spirit was gone,” Sam explains adding that the horse did not trot up sound 100%. “I would not say he was really lame, but he was also not completely sound in the trot up. But we could not really find anything, and then my veterinarian told me he could have some stomach problems.”

The Belgian rider decided to put his 6-year-old horse on Equine 74 Gastric, and although this was only a few weeks ago he can already feel a difference. “After two weeks I already felt a difference. And the horse also trots sound again, so that was a nice surprise for us as well,” Sam Polleunis states.

To try out the product, he also used it on one of his older horses. “With him I did not feel a big difference, because in the end – luckily enough –  it turned out that he did not have any stomach problem. But I must say, over the past weeks this horse looks amazing. His coat is great and he is in the best condition of all my competition horses. I think Equine 74 Gastric could contribute to this as well.”

Sam Polleunis would recommend Equine 74 Gastric for any rider who feels his or her horse suffering from stomach problems. “I am not the kind of rider who uses a lot of products and tries everything. I think many things have to do with riding and you should keep things simple. But with Equine 74 Gastric, I am really convinced the product works. I would certainly recommend it to people who feel their horses have stomach issues, or because the horses suffer from stress or are not motivated anymore.
