This year saw yet more success stories emerging from The Billy Stud – Billy Matador (who was purchased during the 2017 auction for £10,200!) made his Global Champions Tour debut with a top 10 finish in the Grand Prix of London.

Sometimes people’s perception of the reason a horse is offered for sale in an auction can be negative, but we strive to keep the standard of our auctions as high as they possibly can be. We want people to have access to the best and the results from our previous auction buyers highlights the standard we make available.

On Tuesday 10th of October The Billy Stud are bringing forward a collection of 4 and 5 year olds for their Live Autumn Auction Collection. This collection includes direct relations of Billy Trysil (1.60m), Billy Diamo (1.60m), Billy Guilder (1.60m), Billy Grand (1.60m) and many other top level horses. Included are prolific sires like Casallco, who not only finished 4th in the Sires of the World but also sired the newly crowned 6 year old World Champion and the silver medallist in the 7 year old World Championships at Lanaken recently. As well as Zinedine (sire of the hugely impressive Zineday who took an individual silver medal at the European Championships), Conthargos, Zirocco Blue and Plot Blue.

Because our Billy Stud Auction horses are British bred there is no export tax to be paid! As a bonus for this auction, we will cover shipping costs to mainland Europe.

The auction day will begin at 3.30pm at our Jordans Farm base (RH5 5SB) where the will be a final chance to view the collection jumping round a course - this will also be live streamed to www.thebillystudauction.co.uk

The stables will be open from 5.30pm - 7pm. At 7.30pm the first horse will enter the ring and bidding will commence. Bidding will be available both in the room and online via our website.

The week following this auction, on the 17th October see’s the online Autumn Auction of 3 year olds. This collection of 3 year olds include direct relatives of Hickstead 5 year old Champion Billy Caspin and multiple recent international winner Billy Pearl as well as a catalogue of top performing 1.50m and 1.60m horses. With sires including Eldorado, Emerald, Zirocco Blue and Grandorado this is certainly a group of youngsters with a bright future in the sport!
