This Sunday 11th August, during the British Young Horse championships, The Billy Stud will be showcasing the Summer Auction Collection. The event will take place at 7.30pm in the Polo Arena. The horses will be onsite for the duration of the show and there will be availability for stable visits and private trials.
The Billy Stud are proud to be supporting The All England Jumping Course, Hickstead as they host The British Young Horse Championships, 9th – 12th August. This show is an opportune shop window for British breeders and producers alike, and last years 5 year old Championship saw the top 2 places being filled by The Billy Stud bred horses, one of which was bought through the online auctions. This year they are awarding two £5,000 bonus’s to the highest placed 4 and 5 year old auction bought Billy.

Speaking prior to the auction William said: “We have taken the decision that due to such high demand for private trials, we will not be showcasing this collection on the day of the auction taking place. The showcase at Hickstead will be available to view as live for anyone not able to attend and trials will be available both at the show and then at our Surrey base in the days leading up to the auction”..
The Live Summer Auction day on Wednesday 14th August will run as follows -
- Arrival @ 5.30pm
- Open stables until 6.45pm
- Take your seats @ 6.50pm
- Bidding begins @ 7.00pm
The auction will begin at 7.00pm GMT - from this point onward all bidding, whether it be online or in the room, will be controlled by the auctioneers.
