An exciting quest has come to a conclusion: the 2019 collection of The Youngsters – Auction of Young Showjumpers has been revealed. A total of seventeen 3-year-old loose jumpers and twelve ridden sporthorses  in the age of 4- up to 6-years-old made it into the second edition of The Youngsters. On Tuesday 1st October 2019 this group of talented showjumpers will be auctioned at Waaij Stud in Eemnes, The Netherlands.

In a time of social media, we are flooded with photos, videos and pedigrees of horses in all shapes and sizes; from foals to retired horses, from riding school ponies to Grand Prix horses. But nowadays try to separate the wheat from the chaff; where does the search begin and above all, where and when does it end?

With the second edition of The Youngsters, we once again tried to make it easier for our current and future customers. We have handpicked an interesting collection of twenty-nine talents; the ridden sporthorses can be tried out in a professional set up and the loose jumpers can be seen both in hand and during the presentation. Additionally, the veterinary details of the horses are all documented and available upon request.

This year’s collection of the ridden sporthorses consists of nine talented 4-year-olds, two lovely 5-year-olds and a stunning 6-year-old. With the 4-year-old ridden horses, we have a number of rough diamonds; jumpers with the right ingredients that can be polished in order for you to pursue your dreams. They have promising pedigrees with sires such as Cornet Obolensky, Monte Bellini, Douglas, Eldorado van de Zeshoek and Balou du Rouet.

For those looking to be competitive at international shows, we also offer two 5-year-olds and one 6-year-old in our collection. The 5-year-old Jackpot has already got some international experience and was the number one ranked 5-year-old in the Young Horse Final of CSI Opglabbeek in July. The other 5-year-old Calvin is sired by Calvados Z out of Jessica Kürten’s Olympic mare Maike, while the 6-year-old Unicorn is a son of the exceptional Untouched.

The collection of loose jumpers consists solely of 3-year-olds, so customers can immediately begin the progress of producing their future sporthorse. Some of the auction horses are sired by world-famous stallions such as Balou du Rouet, Aganix du Seigneur, Emerald, Arezzo VDL and Harley VDL.

Additionally The Youngsters are proud to offer the NRPS-approved stallion Quaresma, as well as some potentially approved stallions by sires like Cornet Obolensky and For Pleasure. The collection also includes some extremely well-bred mares with both potential for sport and breeding.

The ridden sporthorses are currently available for trials and the loose jumpers can also be fully inspected. During the auction presentation, customers will be able to see them jumping again.

For more information or to book your trials, feel free to contact us through info@the-youngsters.com or by phone +31623412073. All the auction horses have passed a recent vet check by Dierenkliniek Wolvega and x-rays and reports are available upon request.
