The world famous VDL stud farm in Friesland, The Netherlands, has been the home of some of the world’s leading sires such as Olympic silver medallists Cardento VDL, Bubalu VDL and of course European Champion Zirocco Blue VDL, Nations Cup winner VDL Glasgow van’t Merelsnest, Carrera, Hardrock and Arezzo.

During VDL's 2021 Stallion Show, young, upcoming performing sires like Cohinoor, Liamant, Chopano, Kallmar, Comthago and Avenger will be given an analysis and new stallions like Zinelord and Chatinue will be introduced.

Some of the stallions being presented at the VDL Stallion Show 2021: Inaico VDL, Kallmar, Landino and Liamant W.

Not only will all of the VDL stallions be discussed extensively during the show, the show also gives a look behind the scenes at the company of the Van de Lageweg-family. Presented by Frederik de Backer and Wiebe-Yde van de Lageweg, the show features interesting interviews with riders such as Marlon Zanotelli, Jur Vrieling, Jessica Kürten, Marcel De Boer, Darragh Kenny and James Billington. From these conversations, new ideas about breeding and interesting information about the stallions emerge that can be very useful for the breeders in making their choice of stallion.

The VDL Online Stallion Show will be aired in two parts and in three languages (Dutch, English and German), on our own website www.vdlstud.com and on www.clipmyhorse.tv
