The 2017-edition of the Brussels Stephex Masters is coming closer: On Wednesday 30th of August to Sunday 3rd of September, Stephex Stables will again host one of the highlights in the international showjumping calendar.
Sport
Just like previous editions, this year's Brussels Stephex Masters will offer top sport with the CSI5* competitions as the main attractions for the spectators. There will also be a CSI3* Top Series, a CSI2* Super Cup, a CSI1* Prestige League as well as a Future Stars series for young horses.
For the five-star jumping, some of the world's best riders will arrive at the Brussels Stephex Masters. Some of them will come straight from the European Championships, hopefully with a medal, such as Stephex Stables' own Lorenzo De Luca (ITA), Steve Guerdat (SUI), Bertram Allen (IRL), Harrie Smolders (NED) and of course the full Belgian team consisting of Gregory Wathelet, Niels Bruynseels – last year's Rolex Grand Prix winner, Olivier Philippaerts, Pieter Devos as well as Jerome Guery.
Other top riders already confirmed include world no. one Kent Farrington (USA), as well as Daniel Deusser (GER), Christian Ahlmann (GER) and Simon Delestre (FRA).
The complete master list for the event will be released on Monday 28th of August.
A total of 672 532 Euro in prize money will be on offer, and Audi will present a Q5 to the winner of the CSI5* Grand Prix presented by Rolex as well as a Q2 to the winner of the Top Series Grand Prix. In all, nine Longines Ranking competitions are included in the program for the three weeks.

Entertainment
The Brussels Stephex Masters is about more than sport. On August 31, the act Battle of the Countries will be bringing the ring to live followed with a live-performance by the Masters of the Mash-up, Cookies and Cream, while on September 1 the main ring at Stephex Masters will be on fire with the Passion Inferno taking centre stage. The Stephex Club will host that day’s after-party with no one less than DJs Michael Shack and Mattn (Tomorrowland). Masterly Saturday will be the theme on September 2 with a surprising act from the sky to warm up the Stephex Club, while the performances will be closing off with the Surreal Sunday on September 3.
