For this autumn auction, the Westphalian Studbook has brought out some very special diamonds from its treasure chest. Strong moving dressage horses and riding ponies, licensed stallions, and talented show jumpers are all up for sale. The collection is completed by high-quality, unridden youngsters as well as broodmares expecting foals by top stallions in the upcoming year.

On September 22nd, all auction horses have moved into their stables at the Westphalian Horse Center in Münster-Handorf and have since been available for viewing and trial riding by personal appointment. The offering ranges from four- to seven-year-old show jumpers, including top amateur horses, up-and-coming talents, and horses already successful at higher level show-jumping competitions.

Many Westphalian auction horses go on to achieve great success on the international show juming competitions after being sold at the auctions. One such example is Askala NRW by A la Carte NRW/Contendro I (breeder: Josef Meyer, Rüthen), who caused a sensation at the Al Shira’aa "Turnier der Sieger" 2025 in Münster with her new rider Marcus Ehning. The pair took third place in a 1.50 m class as part of the CSI4* show. There is now much anticipation around their future development.

A true contender to follow in Askala NRW's footsteps is the five-year-old gelding Corellanti by Cornet Obolensky/Carell (breeder: Hartwig Rellensmann, Extertal). Athleticism, carefulness, scope, and excellent technique define this experienced athlete. In typical fashion, Corellanti impressed the expert audience and immediately qualified for the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf, where he earned an outstanding score of 8.8.

Another eye-catcher is the seven-year-old licensed stallion Charmeur Blanc by Cornado NRW/Chin Champ (breeder: Gerd Wüst, Borken). This attractive stallion captivates not only with his appearance. Over the jumps, he reveals his full potential, consistently demonstrating carefulness, sharp reflexes, and excellent scope. With his many positive attributes—including mindset, typebeauty, talent, jumping technique, and exceptional character—Charmeur Blanc is ready for a brilliant future in both show jumping and hunter sport.
