Armstrong van de Kapel – one of Olivier Philippaerts' best horses – has been sold to the Qatar Equestrian Federation. The 11-year-old KWPN stallion by Quasimodo Z x Farn has been in the co-ownership of Jan Vermeiren and Ludo Philippaerts. With Olivier in the saddle, Armstrong vd Kapel was on the winning Belgian team at the 2015 Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona as well as on the winning team at the 2015 Nations Cup at Hickstead. 

In a press release, Olivier states that he had some wonderful times with the stallion and also thanks the co-owner Jan Vermeiren for the confidence he showed Olivier – giving him the opportunity to grow with Armstrong to the highest level of the sport.
