Artemis Farms continues to strengthen Rodrigo Pessoa’s string of horses and has acquired the 7-year-old stallion Eclat du Cerisier from Ashford Farm for the Brazilian Olympic Champion. 

A statement from Pessoa’s Amethyst Equestrian on Instagram reads: “Congratulations to Artemis Farm on the purchase of the 7 year old stallion Eclat du Cerisier (Kannan x Loyalty du Cerisier) • Thank you to Ashford Farm and Ecurie Du Cerisier CH for all of your work with him thus far. We look forward to having him on Team Artemis.”

Eclat du Cerisier was acquired by Ashford Farm earlier this year, and has since then impressed on the young horse circuit under Germany’s Jana Wargers. “It gives us great pleasure to see such a special young horse find its way to one of the best riders in the world – Olympic Champion Rodrigo Pessoa – and his incredible owners Kristy and Jim Clark of Artemis Farms,” Enda Carroll comments to World of Showjumping on the sale.
