Two very successful jumpers became parents this week, as a foal out of Kevin Staut's Silvana *HDC by Patrice Delaveau's Carinjo *HDC was born at Haras des Coudrettes in France.
The colt, that came to the world with the help of surrogate mother Adrenaline, has been named Hilvanjo *HDC by his owners Haras des Coudrettes.
With Staut in the saddle, Silvana *HDC won the 2014 Rolex Grand Prix in Den Bosch and the 2014 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Paris, the 2013 Gucci Grand Prix, the 2012 World Cups in Stuttgart and in Bordeaux and the 2010 World Cup in Geneva – not to forget their numerous other wins and podium finishes. The pair also has silver medals from both the 2010 World Championships in Kentucky as well as the 2011 European Championships in Madrid.
Carinjo *HDC recently took home two wins at the Saut Hermès in Paris, and during his career with Delaveau he has recorded big five-star victories in Oslo, Paris, Brussels, La Baule, St. Tropez, Doha and Barcelona to mention some. Carinjo *HDC has already proved himself as a sire, and has numerous offspring jumping in the top sport such as H&M Carat Desire, Cassinja S, Vita 24 and Chatman.
Little Hilvanjo *HDC has quite a bit to live up to!
