Axel Verlooy has bought Victoria Gulliksen's top horse Bokai, and the new rider will be Euro Horse's stable jockey Harrie Smolders. The 9-year-old son of Up To Date x Ferro, has been produced by Victoria from he was a young horse and the Norwegian rider took him all the way up through the classes and to the European Championships in Aachen this year.
"Bokai was my prince for the last four years. He made my dream come true to ride a clear round in Aachen. Bokai took me from young rider to senior level, and gave me confidence to jump anything," Victoria says to World of Showjumping. "I will really miss him."
