Edwina Tops-Alexander has strengthened her string of horses with the recent arrival of the 10-year-old mare Caetlin vd Heffinck Z (Chacco-Blue x Cabrio vd Heffinck). This weekend, the two made a successful five-star debut as they finished 7th in Friday's 1.55m GCL competition and 6th in Saturday's 1.50m LGCT class in Vienna, Austria, at only their second international show together.
Caetlin vd Heffinck Z has previously been seen with France's Alexa Ferrer. The two won the CSI4* 1.60m Grand Prix at Haras de Gassin in May this year, and throughout the season they also had several other good results together up to CSI5* 1.60m level.
"I’m very fortunate to be riding such a special mare," Tops-Alexander commented to World of Showjumping. "She has an incredible heart and instinct, and I want to thank Black Horses for supporting me with Caetlin. I’m excited for our future together; my next competition with her will be the Longines Global Champions Tour in Rabat."
