The 11-year-old gelding Cepano Baloubet (Chaman x Stakkato’s Highlight, bred by W. Seemann), who for the last year has been competed by Germany’s Christian Kukuk, will in the future be seen with France’s Jeanne Sadran.
“Looking forward to see what the future holds,” Sadran wrote on social media as she shared the news of the chestnut joining her team of horses. “A big thank you to Enda and Ashford Farm, as well as Veronica Tracy and Christian Kukuk for the work done with him.”
In 2024, with Germany’s Richard Vogel in the saddle, Cepano Baloubet won the CSIO5* 1.60m Turkish Airlines Prize of Europe at CHIO Aachen. Vogel and Cepano Baloubet also took home wins at venues such as Riesenbeck, Wellington, Monterrey, San Miguel de Allende, Rome and Brussels during 2023 and 2024, before Kukuk took over the reins in December 2024.
