St. Georg reports that André Thieme’s Contanga (Catoki x Contango) has been sold to Victory Equestrian Sport & Athina Onassis de Miranda. It is not yet clear whether Onassis de Miranda will be riding the 11 year old mare herself, or if it will be her husband Doda taking over the reins.
With Thieme in the saddle, Contanga ended 7th in the CSI5* Rolex Grand Prix in Aachen in May – and last year she was second in the CSI5* Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup at Hickstead with the German team as well as second in the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix in Falsterbo. In 2013 she won the CSI5* Grand Prix in Gijon.
