Unfortunately, Marcus Ehning's Cornado NRW (Cornet Obolensky x Acobat) has sustained an injury and will not be able to compete at shows for the next two months. It is an acute bone bruise of the fetlock bone that has put the wonderful 12 year old stallion out of action. On the Sportpferde Ehning website, it is reported that this also means that a participation of Cornado NRW at the European Championships in Aachen is unlikely.

"Our highest priority, however, is the recovery of the stallion, therefore we will only return him to competitions once he is completely healed," it is stated.
