For a fourth consecutive month, Daniel Deusser (GER) continues to top the Longines Ranking.

There is a bit of a shake-up in the Top 10 though, as Peder Fredricson (SWE) has made a big leap from rank 17 to two – now sitting 150 points behind Deusser. Martin Fuchs (SUI) is down from rank two to three, 312 points behind the no. one spot. Scott Brash (GBR) is down from rank three to four, while Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) makes a jump up from rank seven to five.

Newly crowned Olympic Champion Ben Maher (GBR) makes a gigantic climb from rank 32 to six, while Henrik von Eckermann (SWE) jumps from rank 18 to seven after his success in Tokyo. Jerome Guery (BEL) is another rider that is new in the Top 10, going from rank 13 to eight. Kevin Staut (FRA) falls one spot down to rank nine while Steve Guerdat (SUI) drops six places to rank ten.

This is the fourth month where the Longines Ranking is being unfrozen following the implementation of the Covid-19 policy at the end of March last year. Each monthly calculated ranking will now have a shift of two months – meaning a 12-month regular ranking period is expected with ranking no. 251 which will be calculated at the beginning of December 2021. This month’s ranking is calculated over a period of 18 months, and includes validated results from 1st of March 2020 to 31st of August 2021.
