Julien Epaillard’s 12-year-old Selle Français-gelding Donatello d’Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) – bred by Susana Epaillard – tops the first WBFSH Breeder Ranking of the year, leading the way with 1036 points. The latest ranking includes validated FEI results from 1 October 2024 to 30 April 2025.
Hans-Dieter Dreher’s Selle Français-gelding Vestmalle des Cotis (Baloubet du Rouet x Landor S) – bred by Rudy Cock and Christine Cock-Leva – sits second with 993 points, followed by Gerfried Puck’s BWP-stallion Equitron Naxcel V (Balou du Rouet x Landetto) – bred by Leo Vermeiren – in third on 981 points. Jos Verlooy’s Irish Sport Horse-gelding FTS Killossery Konfusion (SIEC Livello x Cruising) – bred by F & L Glynn – is rank four on 976 points, while Ben Maher’s Swedish Warmblood-stallion Point Break (Action-Breaker x Balou du Rouet) – bred by Nya Äppelvikens Ridskola AB – sits fifth on 941 points.
Selle Français also leads the way on the WBFSH Studbook Ranking with 5083 points, with Donatello d'Auge, Vestmalle des Cotis and Derby de Riverland (Kannan x Arc d’Triomphe, bred by Riverland S.C.E.A) being their top three horses.
On 4703 points, BWP is rank two – with Equitron Naxcel V, Equitron Ornaat V (Ut Majeur de Brecey x Landetto, bred by Leo Vermeiren) and Otello de Guldenboom (Tobago Z x Caretino, bred by Hugo Versnick) as their top three performers.
OS – Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg International – ranks third on 4567 points with Greya (Colestus x Contender, bred by Wilfried Sandmann), Cornet Blue PS (Chacco-Blue x Cornet’s Stern, bred by Gestüt Lewitz) and Eddy Blue (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Chacco-Blue, bred by Gestüt Lewitz) as their three best ambassadors.
