Donatello d’Auge continues to top the 2025 WBFSH Breeder Ranking

For a second consecutive month, Julien Epaillard’s 12-year-old Selle Français-gelding Donatello d’Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) – bred by Susana Epaillard – tops the 2025 WBFSH Breeder Ranking, leading the way with 1231 points. The latest ranking includes validated FEI results from 1 October 2024 to 31 May 2025.

Ben Maher’s Swedish Warmblood-stallion Point Break (Action-Breaker x Balou du Rouet) – bred by Nya Äppelvikens Ridskola AB – is up from rank five to two, on 1076 points. Jos Verlooy’s Irish Sport Horse-gelding FTS Killossery Konfusion (SIEC Livello x Cruising) – bred by F & L Glynn – is rank three this month, after being fourth on the last ranking. New in the top five is Nicola Philippaerts' Selle Français-gelding Derby de Riverland (Kannan x L'Arc de Triomphe) – bred by Riverland S.C.E.A. – that sits fourth, followed by Hans-Dieter Dreher’s Selle Français-gelding Vestmalle des Cotis (Baloubet du Rouet x Landor S) – bred by Rudy Cock and Christine Cock-Leva – in fifth.

Selle Français leads the way on the WBFSH Studbook Ranking with 5770 points, with Donatello d'Auge, Derby de Riverland and Vestmalle des Cotis being their top three horses.

On 5223 points, KWPN is rank two – with Farrel (Cardento x Stakkato, bred by VDL Stud), Incredible (Clinton x Heartbreaker, bred by Gebr. Bosch) and EIS Julius Caesar (Couleur Rubin x Cancara, bred by Spexgoor Stables) as their top three performers. 

BWP drops from rank three to two this month – with Equitron Naxcel V (Balou du Rouet x Landetto, bred by Leo Vermeiren), Otello de Guldenboom (Tobago Z x Caretino, bred by Hugo Versnick) and Mr. Tac (Non Stop x Toulon, bred by Edmond Meyers) as their best ambassadors.
