Jeroen Dubbeldam has today announced that his double European and World Champion SFN Zenith (Rash x Fuego du Prelet) will be retired from the sport, at the age of 15.

The pair won both the individual and team gold at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014, and went on to repeat the incredible achievement at the European Championships in Aachen the year after.

On his official Instagram page, Dubbeldam writes: "Thank you SFN Zenith! With a little sadness but foremost with great pride and gratefulness I would like to announce the retirement of SFN Zenith. Sunday the 17th of March during the Indoor Brabant Rolex Grand Slam we will look back at our amazing career with the people that made this incredible success story possible. Let’s make it a day to remember!"
