The Showjumping Fund of the Netherlands II (SFN II) has announced that it has been able to purchase double World and European Champion Zenith SFN from its predecessor The Showjumping Fund of the Netherlands (SFN).

The SFN has previously rejected the sale of the 13-year-old gelding by Rash R x Fuego du Prelet during their 2016-auction, as the highest bid was estimated to not reflect the value of the horse.

“Through this purchase, the successful combination of Jeroen Dubbeldam and Zenith SFN remains intact for many years. We hope that they in the future will be able to achieve many great successes for the Netherlands,” reads the press release from SFN.

This year, the pair has won to three-star Grand Prix competitions together: In Samorin and St Lô.
