The Belgian Equestrian Federation has announced that face masks will be mandatory at all sporting events – indoors and outdoors – as of Saturday 25 July. The rule applies to everyone on-site over the age at 12, unless they practice sports. Contact details of customers at catering establishments, including those at sports clubs, will be requested and kept for a maximum of 14 days for tracing purposes in case of infections.
On a press conference yesterday, the Belgian government announced that due to the increase in Covid-19 cases all around the country it will not proceed with the planned 5th phase of easing restrictions. On the contrary, a number of new measures have been announced – which will take effect as of today.
