The BWP studbook has awarded four stallions with the title 'Ambassador' at their 2017 Stallion Selection Show in Lier.
Emerald van ‘t Ruytershof (Diamant de Semilly x Carthago), bred by Bert Van den Branden – Malito de Reve (Cumano x Muguet du Manoir), bred by Antoine Huyskens – Apple Juice (Tresor d'Opaline x Fier de Lui), bred by William Christens – as well as Tolano vh Riethof (Chin Chin x Goldspring de Lauzelle), bred by Robert Dieleman – all received the title.
To become an ambassador for the BWP, the stallion himself or one of his offspring must have competed in the final of the World Equestrian Games or the Olympic Games. Another possibility to become an ambassador is if the stallion has at least five offspring within the top 100 on the WBFSH stallion ranking.
Cantario (Casiro x Cantus), Hos d’O (Dollar Dela Pierre x Cumano) and Kraque Boom (Olisco x Joyau D’or A) were named Elite Stallions.
