Ireland's Bertram Allen has taken over the reins on Gin Chin van het Lindenhof (Chin Chin x Calido I), and made his international show debut with the 11-year-old gelding at the CSI2* event at Sentower Park this weekend.
Gin Chin van het Lindenhof has since the summer of 2015 been seen under Germany's Marcus Ehning, who took over the ride from Belgium's Fabrice Galdini. With Ehning in the saddle, Gin Chin van het Lindenhof won the CSI3* Grand Prix at Sentower Park back in 2015 and also finished third in the CSI5* Grand Prix at Olympia a few months later. This year, the pair recorded top five-finishes in Den Bosch and Treffen.
Allen is not the only one that showed new horses this weekend, also France's Kevin Staut made his debut with the 9-year-old mare S&L Through The Looking Glass (Arkan x Hairos) at Sentower Park. The mare has had several different riders over the last years, and was recently seen under Belgium's Vincent Lambrecht who jumped her up to 1.50 level.
