The Italian Equestrian Federation (FISE) has confirmed the cancellation of a number of international jumping events in Italy due to the Coronavirus Covid-19. 

Cancellations include CSI shows that were scheduled in Gorla Minore (11-15 March 2020, 18-22 March 2020, 25-29 March 2020 and 1-5 April 2020) and Arezzo (16-22 March 2020 and 23-29 March 2020). Click here for the full list of current cancelled events.

The FEI has also updated their Coronavirus advisory as of March 9th, stating that: “We recommend that organisers check the WHO’s latest guidelines offering key planning recommendations for mass gatherings in the context of the current Covid-19 outbreak (click here), which outlines risk assessment, key planning, operational and post-event considerations for organisers during the current outbreak. This document should be read in conjunction with the WHO’s Public Health for Mass Gatherings: Key Considerations, which provides general advice on the public health aspects of mass gathering events.”
