Jessica Springsteen has decided to retire her successful partner Davendy S (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Pachat II). Picking up their last win at the CSI5* Longines Global Champions Tour of Valkenswaard in August 2017, the pair was also victorious at venues such as CSI5* Windsor, CSI3* Ocala and CSI5* Wellington over the past two years. Before Davendy S came to Springsteen in the summer of 2014, she was successfully competed by France’ Eugenie Angot.
The 16-year-old mare now lives at Springsteen’s New Jersey farm. ”She has won so many classes, she was the horse I won my first world ranking class on,” Jessica tells World of Showjumping. ”She really taught to me to be competitive. She deserves a happy retirement."
