The 11-year-old BWP gelding King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo) has taken over the number one spot on the WBFSH ranking list for breeders of jumping horses. Bred by Wim Impens (BEL), and ridden by Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), King Edward is with his 1310 points ranked as the best horse on the WBFSH ranking for August. The ranking includes validated FEI results from 1st of October 2020 to 31st of August 2021.
Runner-up on the August-ranking with 1295 points is the 12-year-old KWPN gelding Explosion W (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet) – bred by Willy Wijnen (NED) and ridden by Ben Maher (GBR). In third, with 1175 points, follows the 13-year-old KWPN mare H&M Indiana (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Animo's Hallo), bred by W. Vanderlinden/Van Turtelboom-Ruys (BEL) and ridden by Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE). Rank four with 1165 points is John Whitaker's (GBR) Selle Français gelding Unick Du Francport (Zandor x Helios de la Cour II), that is bred by Laurent Baillet (FRA). In fifth with 1100 points follows the 13-year-old Selle Français gelding Urvoso du Roch (Nervoso x Grand d'Escla), bred by Antoine Bollart (FRA) and ridden by Nicolas Delmotte (FRA).
On the studbook ranking, it is BWP that leads the way with 6325 points, with King Edward, H&M Indiana and Killer Queen VDM (Eldorado Vd Zeshoek x For Pleasure) being their best three horses. Stud Book du Cheval Selle Français follows in rank two with 5891 points, with Unick Du Francport, Urvoso du Roch and Oak Grove's Enkidu (Ensor Vdh Pleville x Quidam de Revel) as their three best ambassadors. Rank three is the Holsteiner Verband, that has a total of 5448 points – with Quel Homme de Hus (Quidam de Revel x Candillo Z), Con Quidam RB (Quinar x Cardino) and VDL Cartello (Cartani 4 x Lord) being their top three.
