Jessica Springsteen's Lisona (Obos Quality x Porsch) has been retired from the sport at the age of 14. On her Instagram account the American rider has posted a picture of her former Grand Prix horse 'happily retired' and enjoying the fields. 

Lisona has had much success with Springsteen in the saddle, with wins at CSI4*W Washington International Horse Show in 2014, as well as podium finishes in Rotterdam, Lexington and Toronto during the same year. 

The mare was also successful with Ireland's Darragh Kerins in the saddle, recording wins with the Irish team in the Nations Cups at Hickstead and Dublin in 2012.
