The 10-year-old BWP-mare Olga van de Kruishoeve (El Torreo de Muze x Nabab de Reve), bred by Eric Polfliet, tops the first WBFSH Breeder Ranking for jumping horses of 2024. Ridden by Simon Delestre, the mare has collected a total of 1053 points in the period counted – 1.10.2023-30.4.2024.
Henrik von Eckermann's top horse King Edward (Edward 28 x Feo), bred by Wim Impens, sits second on 1030 points – making it a double for BWP on top. The 10-year-old AAFE-mare RR Combella (Cornet du Lys x Indoctro), bred by Solmat Agropecuaria S.A., is third after recording 998 points with Shane Sweetnam, followed by Daniel Coyle's 14-year-old Zangersheide-mare Legacy (born Chavantele Z, Chippendale Z x Bon Ami), bred by Romain Rotty, as rank four on 996 points. Blood Diamond du Pont (Diamant de Semilly x Arpege Pierville), a 13-year-old SF-gelding bred by Matthieu Le Connetable and ridden by Julien Anquetin, completes the top five on 982 points.
On the studbook ranking, BWP leads the way with Hortensia van de Leeuwerk (Corland x Argentinus) – bred by Ronald Joosen – being the third of their top three ambassadors. Rank two is Zangersheide, that has Legacy as its best ambassador followed by Landon (born Crack de Nyze Z, Comilfo Plus Z x Quadrillo) – bred by Danny Nijs – and Sierra du Piedroux Z (Hunter's Scendix x Contefino 2) – bred by Claude Noirot – as their other two top ranked horses. Selle Francais is rank three with Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly) – bred by Ylvain Pitois and Perrine Cateline – and Truman (born Virutose Breil, Mylord Carthago x Colibri) – bred by Aurore Merel – accompanying Blood Diamond du Pont as the studbook's three best horses.
