Poden Farms’ Winning Good (Winningmood x Sir Corland) has been sold, and it will be Jorge Matte taking over the reins.
With Emily Moffitt in the saddle, the now 13-year-old gelding has had lots of success. Last year, Moffitt and Winning Good represented Great Britain at the Longines FEI European Championships in Riesenbeck, where they qualified for the individual final. During 2021, the pair also helped the Global Champions League team London Knights win the CSI5* GC Super Cup Final in Prague, and they jumped clear in the CSIO5* Challenge Cup during the Longines FEI Nations Cup Final in Barcelona to help Great Britain to the victory. Moffitt and Winning Good have several good results to look back at, both on the LGCT/GCL circuit, as well as in the Longines FEI Nations Cup-series. Last year, they were double clear in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in La Baule, while in 2020 they were double clear in the CSIO5* Nations Cup at Deeridge Farms, and in 2019 they contributed to the British win in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Dublin.
“After a lot of thought and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to sell Winning Good,” Emily Moffitt comments to World of Showjumping. “Winnie has been and always will be my champion but most importantly my friend. I am forever grateful for what this special horse has brought into my life. I look forward to watching him succeed with his new rider. It has truly been a privilege to ride him.”
