Sweden's Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Ermindo W (Singapore x Carinjo HDC) have parted ways, the former world no. one announced yesterday.
Bengtsson announced the sale of the 13-year-old stallion through his social media channels, and wrote: "Ermindo W: Always ambitious, clever and full of energy! It was a pleasure to ride you over the most difficult courses all around the world! Thank you for this great times and thank you @nielsdotter for a great owner-partnership over so many years. All the best wishes to the new owners - we will follow you for sure!"
With Bengtsson in the saddle, Ermindo W was on the winning Swedish Nations Cup team at Spruce Meadows back in September, as well as in St. Gallen last year. The pair was part of the Swedish team at the European Championship in Riesenbeck in 2021, and also the reserve combination for this year's World Championship in Herning and last year's Olympic Games in Tokyo.
