Susana Epaillard Garcia Cereceda wins the 2023 WBFSH Jumping Breeder Award

Susana Epaillard Garcia Cereceda has won the 2023 WBFSH Jumping Breeder Award as Donatello d'Auge (Jarnac x Hello Pierville) has finished on top of this year's WBFSH Jumping Breeders Ranking, with a total of 1933 points. The final WBFSH ranking of the year includes results for the period from 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023. 

Together with Susana’s husband Julien Epaillard, the 10-year-old gelding won the CSI5*-W 1.60m Longines FEI Jumping World Cup in Amsterdam at the beginning of the year. The two also won the CSI5* 1.60m Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix classes in St. Tropez and Monaco this summer, as well as the CSI4* 1.55m Grand Prix in Bourg-en-Bresse. Recently the pair claimed the victory in the CSIO5* 1.55m City of Barcelona Trophy, during the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final. 

With 1588 points, Conor Swail's Theo 160 (Christian 25 x Calando IV) – bred by Jenny Abrahamsson – finishes second on the final 2023-ranking, ahead of Simon Delestre's Dexter Fontenis Z (Diarado x Voltaire) – bred by S.C.R.I S.KY Horses – in third on 1586 points. 

The winning studbook for jumping horses is the Selle Français on 8317 points, with their top three representatives being Donatello d’Auge, Dzara Dorchival (Qlassic Bois Margot x Raphael) – bred by Sebastian Fonck, and Dubai du Cedre (Baloubet du Rouet x Diamant de Semilly) – bred by Ylvain Pitois and Perrine Cateline. The Holsteiner Verband finishes second on 8094 points, followed by Zangersheide in third on 7677 points.
