At the end of April, Sylve Söderstrand got fired as Chef d'Equipe for Sweden but now he is back in the position as Olympic head coach. The Swedish Olympic Committee (SOK) has together with the Swedish Equestrian Federation found a solution that involves Söderstrand until the Olympic Games in
Rio, upon the wish from the riders.
"Now I'm back again. It is good that a solution was found, and now it is just to continue the work that has been started. It is not really any different for me compared to the job I did before, the only difference is that I'm hired by the Swedish Olympic Committee and not the Swedish Equestrian Federation. I will work with Ragnar Bengtsson and Annika Ersgård - the same people that I worked with before. So now we are heading for the Olympics," Sylve comments to World of Showjumping.
