The German Equestrian Federation has announced its team for the FEI Jumping European Championship 2023, which takes place in Milan, Italy, from August 29 to September 3.
The team will consist of the following horse-and-rider combinations:

Marcus Ehning and Stargold (Stakkato Gold x Lord Weingard – breeder Gestüt Sprehe GmbH)

André Thieme and DSP Chakaria (Chap I x Askari – breeder Martin Jürgens)

Jana Wargers and Limbridge (Guardus Limbus x Cambridge – breeder Ralf Pawlowski)

Philipp Weishaupt and Zineday (Zinedine x Polydor – breeder Franz-Georg Ottmann)
Gerrit Nieberg and Ben (Sylvain x Quincy Jones – breeder Christa Mikulski) will be the fifth pair travelling to Milan, while Christian Kukuk and Mumbai (Diamant de Semilly x Nabab de Reve – bred by Kurt de Clercq) are the first reserves.
