The 13-year-old Selle Francais stallion Vancouver de Lanlore (Toulon x Le Tot De Semilly) will in the future be seen with Switzerland's Pius Schwizer.
With Pénélope Leprévost in the saddle, Vancouver de Lanlore represented France at the Tokyo Olympic Games last summer, as well as at the Longines FEI European Championships in Rotterdam in 2019. The pair did their last international outing in February, when competing at the Andalucia Sunshine Tour in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain.
A press release from the Vorpe-family, the owners of the stallion, published by Le Cavalier Romand, reads: “It is with much appreciation and gratitude that we thank Pénélope Leprévost for the very good job done, as well as her entire team for the very good care and love given to our dear Vancouver. We would also like to thank the selectors of the French team for their confidence in Vancouver and their very close collaboration with his rider and owners. A page turns, our collaboration with Pénélope Leprévost will continue with other horses.”
To World of Showjumping, Pius Schwizer commented: "Vancouver arrived in my stable yesterday, after I was approached by the owners. The plan is for me to ride the stallion.”
