What's on in the jumping world – Week 35, 2025

The 2025-edition of Brussels Stephex Masters brings some of the world's best to Stephex Stables' base in Wolvertem, Belgium. Friday's highlight will be the CSIO5* Henders & Hazel Nations Cup presented by STX Finance, while on Sunday, the Rolex Grand Prix presented by Audi will take place.

On the entry list are the likes of Ben Maher (GBR), who will be joined by Scott Brash (GBR) and Harry Charles (GBR), while the current world no. three, the 2024 Olympic Champion Christian Kukuk (GER), the current world no. four Steve Guerdat (SUI) and Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), the current world no. five, will also be competing in Wolvertem.

With Nina Mallevaye (FRA), Roger Yves Bost (FRA), Cian O’Connor (IRL) and Jessica Springsteen (USA) also in attendance, the home side is led by Zoe and Emilie Conter (BEL), as well as Gilles Thomas (BEL), Thibeau Spits (BEL), Pieter Devos (BEL) and Gregory Wathelet (BEL) – among others.

World no. one Kent Farrington (USA) heads an impressive list of show jumping athletes entered to compete in the 50th anniversary Hampton Classic Horse Show. This year’s competition promises to be the best yet with 13 Olympians, top international stars from 22 countries and the three podium finishers from 2024 all ready to contest the courses designed by Nick Granat (USA).

Celebrating 50 years of world-class equestrian competition in 2025, the Hampton Classic Horse Show returns to Bridgehampton, NY, August 24-31, featuring FEI CSI5* and CSI2* show jumping and USEF Premier hunter competitions with more than $1 million in prize money. The highlight of the week is the $400,000 Longines Hampton Classic 5* Grand Prix, one of the world’s premier show jumping competitions.

Germany’s Rene Dittmer hopes to defend his 2024 Hampton Classic Grand Prix title against multiple Olympic veterans and fellow Grand Prix winners, including world no. one Kent Farrington, who won the event in 2012 and 2013. Among those joining Dittmer and Farrington at the Classic is six-time U.S. Olympian McLain Ward, who has won the Hampton Classic Grand Prix a record seven times and is currently ranked world no. eight.
