CHI Geneva returns for its 2025-edition and on the entry list are some of the world's very best horses and riders.
True to tradition, the 64th CHI Geneva will take place at Palexpo. Highlights include Thursday's 1.60m Trophée de Genève – the first of two qualifiers for Sunday's Rolex Grand Prix, Friday's 1.55m Prix des Communes Genevoises – the second Grand Prix qualifier, Friday's annual 1.60m Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final, Saturday's 1.60m Coupe de Genève – a unique event with its combination jumps, and of course Sunday's 1.60m Rolex Grand Prix – the last Major of the year in the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.
Home hero and 2024 Olympic Vice-Champion Steve Guerdat – a crowd favourite in Geneva – will be in action after recently returning from a break due to back surgery. Guerdat will be joined by a strong squad of home riders, including Martin Fuchs, Pius Schwizer, Edouard Schmitz and Géraldine Straumann.
The line-up also includes world no. one Kent Farrington (USA), world no. two and Grand Slam Live Contender Scott Brash (GBR) – who won the Major at Spruce Meadows, world no. three and 2024 Olympic Champion Christian Kukuk (GER), world no. four Ben Maher (GBR), world no. five Gilles Thomas (BEL), world no. six Richard Vogel (GER), world no. eight Harrie Smolders (NED), world no. nine Julien Epaillard (FRA) and world no. ten Daniel Coyle (IRL).

Desert International Horse Park, in Thermal, California, hosts its second of two weeks of CSI5* competitions with Desert Holiday 2 taking place between 9-14 December 2025. The Desert Holiday 2 event is also the 7th leg of this year's Major League Show Jumping, and will in addition to the CSI5* classes feature CSI2* competitions. The highlight of the week will be the $340,000 CSI5* 1.60m Grand Prix, jumped on Saturday 13th December.
On the entry list are many of America's best riders, including McLain Ward, Laura Kraut and Jessica Springsteen, who will get competition from the likes of FEI U25 leading rider Nina Mallevaey (FRA), as well as big names such as Conor Swail (IRL) and Daniel Bluman (ISR), and young talent like Alex Matz (USA) and Jeanne Sadran (FRA).
