Today, at the Fritz Tiedemann Halle in Elmshorn, the final class of the Young Riders Academy anniversary show had a thrilling Grand Prix 1.45m jump-off. Ten riders had to fight to collect points for the prestigious prizes. Based on the overall rankings, Pieter Clemens was awarded as the combined winner – collecting the prestigious invitation to the Calgary 2019 Summer Tour. In runner-up position followed today’s Grand Prix winner Eoin McMahon who received an invitation to CHI Geneva 2018, while the third place went to Jonathan Gordon who got an invitation to The Dutch Masters in Den Bosch in 2019.

“These three days have been a blast,” the riders said. “An amazing evening at Breitenburg Castle dining with our sport heroes such as Neco Pessoa, Franke Sloothaak, Marco Kutscher, Otto Becker and Emile Hendrix; a perfect show between friends, and unbelievable prizes. We, as YRA riders, feel very blessed for all the opportunities we have been offered over the years and we want to express all our gratitude to the YRA team and Rolex who has made our dreams come true!”
