The 14-year-old KWPN gelding Zinius (Nabab de Reve x Kannan) is the new world no. one on the latest WBFSH Rolex World Ranking List for breeders of jumping horses, which is the first of this year.

With 1105 points, Harrie Smolders' success ride – that is bred by Mario Everse – is followed by Marcus Ehning's 15-year-old Westphalian stallion Cornado NRW (Cornet Obolensky x Acobat) on 810 points. Cornado NRW is bred by Antonius Schulze-Averdiek. The 11-year-old Oldenburg stallion Chacanno (Chacco-Blue x Kannan), previously seen under Henrik von Eckermann and bred by Gestüt Lewitz, is rank three on 804 points. Rank four is Royce (Cafe Au Lait x Grandilot), ridden by Margie Goldstein-Engle and bred by Gestüt Lewitz. Cita (Casall x Pik Ramiro), ridden by Daniel Coyle and bred by Anja Steen, is rank five.

On the studbook ranking, KWPN tops with Zinius, Ares (Cardento x Zandigo) and Bintang II (Kitile Horta x Orlando) as their three best representatives. With 4147 points, the KWPN is followed by Oldenburg-International on 4012 points with Chacanno, Royce and Carlotta 232 (Chaccomo x Cento) as their three best horses. Rank three is the Westphalian studbook, who has a total of 3733 points – with Cornado NRW, Toveks Mary Lou (Montendro x Portland L) and Cornet D'Amour (Cornet Obolensky x Damiani) being their best three ambassadors.
