Friday's CSI4* 1.50m presented by Stephex Horsetrucks at the 2024-edition of Zangersheide International at Sentower Park in Belgium went to Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Farah Tame (Quadrio Tame x Panama Tame).
With a time of 59.40 seconds, Anquetin topped a field of 51 horse-and-rider combinations in the 1.50m class judged as Table A against the clock and counting for the Longines Ranking Group D. Anthony Wellens (BEL) and Cuberlina II Z (Contact vd Heffinck x Corrado I) took the runner-up spot in 61.26, while Titouan Schumacher (FRA) and Illusion (Balou du Rouet x Glennridge) placed third in 63.10, Pim Mulder (NED) and Dunaghmore (Ustinov x Cruising) fourth in 63.29 and Michael Duffy (IRL) aboard Claptonn Mouche (Conrad x Elan de la Cour) fifth in 65.71.
The second CSI4* class of the day, a 1.45m Sires of the World – also counting for Longines Ranking Group D – saw Christian Ahlmann (GER) and d'Aganix 2000 Z (Dominator 2000 Z x Aganix du Seigneur Z) take the win ahead of Marine Scauflaire (BEL) and Hortus d'Hoogpoort (Diamant de Semilly x Acorado) in second. Riding Dourkhan Hero Z (Don't Touch Tiji Hero x Zandor), Ahlmann took the third place as well, while Manon Hees (NED) and Picco (Quint vh Maarlo x Hopalong Cassidy XX) finished fourth and Thibeau Spits (BEL) aboard Calvino II de Nyze Z (Calvaro F.C. x Heartbreaker) fifth.
