Germany's Tim Rieskamp-Goedeking and the 12-year-old mare Pepina G (Periguex x Chacco-Blue) kicked off the 2024-edition of CSI4* Zangersheide International at Sentower Park in Belgium with a win in Thursday's 1.50m Henders & Hazel Prize.
Counting for the Longines Ranking Group D, the 1.50m speed class was a qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix. With a time of 59.92, the German rider topped a field of 68 horse-and-rider-combinations – taking the win ahead of Harrie Smolders (NED) and Deesse de Kerglenn (Mylord Carthago x Crusador) in second in 60.28, while Zascha Nygaard Lill (DEN) and Primavera (Mylord Carthago x Cornet Obolensky) placed third in 61.02.
Julien Anquetin (FRA) and Gravity of Greenhill (Nabab de Reve x Conterno-Grande) finished fourth in 61.55, followed by his compatriot Titouan Schumacher in 62.09 aboard Illusion (Balou du Rouet x Glennridge).
