France's Julien Anquetin continued his winning ways as the 2024-edition of Zangersheide International at Sentower Park in Belgium moved onto its penultimate day on Saturday.
Riding Z Ice Cube Z (Zacharov x Casco 4), Anquetin topped Saturday's CSI4* Catherine de Buyl Prize – a 1.50m competition with a jump-off, counting for the Longines Ranking Group D. Stopping the clock on 31.71 in a jump-off between eleven horse-and-rider-combinations, Anquetin took the win ahead of his compatriot Alexis Borrin and Embassy du Chateau (Jarnac x Bolero de Brecey) in second in 32.41 – besting a field of 59 participants.
Robert Murphy (GBR) and Hulde G (Vigo d'Arsouilles x Warrant) placed third, while the fourth spot went to Jana Wargers (NED) and Corrie 9 (Comme Il Faut x Arpeggio) and fifth to Lars Kersten (NED) aboard Hallilea (VDL Zirocco Blue x Larome).
