Laura Renwick made it her second win for the weekend, when she went to the top in Saturday’s 1.55 class in Bourg-en-Bresse on Heliodor Hybris (Diamant de Semilly x Cannoball). Coming in towards the very end of the class, the British rider snatched the win from France’s very own talent Margaux Rocuet on Lewin 5 (Lewinski x Fidelio) who had been in the lead of the class from the beginning after a fantastic clear round.
Only three riders went clear in the speed class that had a lot of faults over the twisting track that made it hard for many to keep a good rhythm. The final clear belonged to another home rider; Philippe Rozier on Quel Chanu (Flipper d’Elle x Calypso de Moyon). Then followed two more home riders; Caroline Nicolas and Aymeric de Ponnat in fourth and fifth.
