Two 1.50 Longines Ranking classes have been leading the way towards Sunday's CSI3* Grand Prix in Kapellen, and it was Kevin Babington and Alberto Zorzi that took home the wins for Ireland and Italy.
Alberto Zorzi and Amour du Seigneur (Schilling x Darco) was double clear in Saturday's two phase Prijs Copernicus Stables, and finished the second part in 40.13 seconds. Brazil's Pedro Veniss and Anaya St. Hermelle (Andiamo Z x Paladins des Ifs) finished as runners-up, over a second behind on the time. Third place went to Charlotte Bettendorf and Aran (Manhattan x Colino).
On Friday it was Kevin Babington and Shorapur (Stakkato Gold x Drosselklang) that ended as winners of the Prijs Ariat. With a super fast and clear round in the jump-off at 37.38 seconds, there was an ocean of time down to runner-up Pedro Veniss on Anya St. Hermelle (Andiamo Z x Paladin des Ifs) who stopped the clock at 39.30 seconds. Simon Delestre finished third on Chesall (Casall x Concerto II).
