Yesterday he won the Grand Prix qualifier, today he went to the top in the DKB-Riders Tour Grand Prix riding Quatrin de la Roque (Quick Star x Kannan). Even though it's early days for the couple - this is only their third show together - the two have obviously found the tone, and were yet again unbeatable in Paderborn.

Eight riders went clear in the second round, but nobody could beat the French rider who always is a danger against the clock. Although the margin was slimmer than in yesterday's class, Julien still had a comfortable 1.51 seconds down to runner-up Leopold van Asten on VDL Groep Zidane (Heartbreaker x Calando I).

Like yesterday, Germany's Eva Bitter on Perigueux (Perpignon x Stakkato) were third while it was another Dutch rider that ended fourth - Marc Houtzager on Sterrehof's Uppity (Guidam x Epilot). Fifth also went to a rider from Netherlands; Gert Jan Bruggink on MCB Ulke (Lux x Peter Pan).

"I don't experience this every weekend," said the happy winner afterwards. "Michel Hecart (the owner of the horse) was very happy yesterday, and does not even know yet that we won again!"
