France’s own Benoit Cernin and the 13-year-old mare Dynamite du Miral (Nabba de Reve x Alligator Fontaine) took a winning start to the weekend at the 2026-edition of CSI4* Jumping International de Bourg-en-Bresse, topping Thursday’s CSI4* 1.50m Prix E. Leclerc Cap Emeraude.
In the class judged as a Table A against the clock, Cernin clocked the winning time of 62.4 seconds, taking the win ahead of the current world no. 12 Julien Epaillard on Fringan de Vesquerie (Mylord Carthago x Diamant de Semilly), who crossed the finish line in 62.78 to place second.
Rik Hemeryck (BEL) and Navarro van het Eelshof (Jappelloup vh Dauwhof x Poleander) completed the podium in third in 64.41, followed by Lalie Saclier (FRA) with Fenomene des Lilas (Toulon x Joyeux Ardent) in fourth and José Maria Larocca Jr. (ARG) aboard Finn Lente (Gaillard de La Pomme x Colandro) in fifth.
